Hi, I'm Erik, owner of Clean Concrete Design. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but now reside right in between Denver and Boulder, Colorado with my wife, dogs, and cats. I was raised in a hard-working, middle class family. My parents raised me to work hard and I learned first hand by watching them the commitment and dedication to do what it takes to take care of family. I'm the middle child, lucky enough to have an older brother and younger sister.
My uncle (pictured above) has his own concrete company, and I started watching and helping him in my early teens. Fast forward several years later, where I worked for my cousin who also has a concrete business. Finally, in 2018, I decided it was time to create Clean Concrete Design, LLC. and be my own boss. There, I partnered with another cousin that, yep, you guessed it, has his own concrete business! It's safe to say that the art of finishing concrete runs in my family.
Outside of work, I love to cook and I love exploring new places to eat. My wife and I love to travel, and so far I have to say my favorite cuisine is Thai, or any Asian food. I can eat spicy food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is exactly what we did when we traveled to Thailand back in early 2020. I also love college football, specifically Penn State. I try to make it to at least one game a year, likely the White Out! We Are!
